Coach Patrick Deans brings collegiate and elite high school playing experience to the coaching staff. A five-year player at Johns Hopkins University, Deans appeared in 46 games primarily at LSM and finished his career with 40 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers. He was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
Prior to Johns Hopkins, Deans was a standout at Lambert High School, helping lead the Longhorns to a state championship and two state runner-up finishes. A US Lacrosse All-American and two-time Forsyth County Player of the Year, he also served as team captain.
Deans graduated from Johns Hopkins with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and pursued a master's degree in Engineering Management.
