“Langley Thunder Announce Big Eastern Signings – Andrew Potter, Pat Saunders, John Rae”
The Langley Thunder of the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) announces the signings of Andrew Potter, Pat Saunders, & John Rae for the 2011 season. Langley acquired the playing rights from Kitchener Kodiaks (Potter & Saunders), Ajax (Rae) all of the Major Series Lacrosse (Ontario).
Saunders & Potter are offensive players described by Langley Head Coach Rod Jensen as “ Young hungry eastern talent trying to make their mark with Langley Thunder.”
Potter accumulated an impressive 41 points in 13 games for Kitchener in 2010, he accumulated an amazing 179 points in 35 games during his last year of Junior A lacrosse in Ontario (2009).
Pat Saunders was an offensive force with Minto Cup Silver Medalist Orangeville Northman (Junior A) accumulating 116 points in 44 games for the Northmen in 2010.
John Rae is a physical specimen from Barrie Ontario. He led the defense for the Lakeshores in 2010 OLA Junior A circuit. Described by Jensen as “Raw defensive talent, I really look forward to seeing how he develops, ”
